WE BELIEVE IN YOGA EDUCATION.
Our Beginner’s Series is a six-session series designed to introduce new practitioners to yoga. This is also a wonderful way to return to fundamentals of alignment, breath, and the language of yoga for students who may have jumped right into faster-paced classes- even years ago- without slowing down to get a strong foundation and yoga education.
Each session is a complete yoga practice, but is built around a general theme based on physical and energetic alignment. BREATH is fundamental to all 6 sessions! While the six classes can be seen as building on one another, you can jump in at any time. We have carefully designed the curriculum to be completed in any order.
BEGINNERS SERIES BY WEEK:
Session 1: Breath, Feet and Knees
Session 2: Breath, Pelvis, and Core
Session 3: Breath, the Spine
Session 4: Breath, Shoulders, Wrists, and Hands
Session 5: Breath, Safe Alignment in Vinyasa
Session 6: Tying it all together: Energy Management
